This was the third flight of the day on 21st February 2021. The flight distance was 876 nautical miles with a flight time of 3 hours 27 minutes. This has taken the cumulative distance to 2,528 nautical miles with 9 hours 21 minutes in the cockpit.

This was a trip characterised by mile after mile of sea flying over the Labrador Ocean. Whilst flying out of Greenland I noticed the scenery became more impressive with all the snow capped hills and mountains as well as fjords. It wasn't quite as spectacular flying into Greenland as it was flying out. I flew over a tiny town, Maniitsoq, and thought those people that live there must be hardy living in that climate month after month. The weather on this flight was pretty good with some turbulence mid-ocean but nothing too disturbing. The Newfoundland coast by contrast to Greenland was a warren of small islands with lots of forestry which made it rather spectacular in areas. Goose Bay airport I have to say was a little underwhelming - basically a runway with some prefabricated metal hangers. Still, every airport is not exactly going to be the lap of luxury :-)

Next flight update will be from Goose Bay, Newfoundland to St. John's International Airport in Quebec, Canada.
